Sure enough he was hooked. Within a week he had gotten his ingredients together and was making the cherries. What both of us failed to realize was that they need to rest for 10 days after making so that the fondant changes to liquid. Oops. I guess we will be eating them for New Year's.

The girls helped Grandpa dip the cherries in chocolate. They had a great time and had left over chocolate too! They dipped apricots and potato chips. Yum! Grandpa is a great sport.
