Saturday Morning Webkinz
I can't decide whether Webkinz is a good thing or a bad thing. The girls are "addicted". I am trying to figure out how to use this to my advantage. Tit for Tat. I will be fine tuning this over the next week or so.
This was the scene at our house this morning. Emma in my office and Grace in the playroom. They run back and forth comparing their Webkinz stuff.

p.s. My office used to be the playroom so forgive the light green curtain/lavendar wall color/red furniture motif. I hate to paint!
We hope you have a happy Webkinz morning too!

Snow Days
This was taken Saturday morning before the real snow arrived.
This was supposed to be a snow cave. They decided that would be too much work and made it a slide.
Here are the girls enjoy the spoils of playing in the snow. A little "Warm Chocolate Soother" and a dab of marshmallow creme.

New Year's Traditions
This was the third year that our neighbors met at Campioni's for a New Year's Eve meal. The kids love Campioni's because they have great bubble gum/toy machines. Specifically they seek "squishies". Little rubber creatures that cost 50 cents and generate hours of play. You just can't beat that! We brought our friend Erin with us this year.
This is the New Year's Eve cake that I made. After we have dinner we reconvene at someone's house and bring in the New Year. Although this year I think we only made it to 10:30pm.
Nicole and Amy (and Ellie) are chatting each other up. Winter is tough in our neck of the woods. We see our neighbors everyday in the summer and then winter comes and we have to catch up every chance we get.
This is our traditional New Year's Day meal. Letcho. We love it! John could eat it for days (he usually does). It is a traditional meal from his parents. I believe it is Hungarian.
